For those of you who do not know, we are in draught conditions in central Texas. We have been praying for rain and today I thought about all my many blessing as I enjoyed my mother's day. A special thank you to all my family for the love and support you give me! I love being a mother and a grandmother and have a very special family to thank for this great blessing. I LOVE you all for goodness and joy you bring into my life every day!

Michelle's baby shower was a hit!
We celebrated with Michelle the upcoming arrival of a new baby boy into the Kiesewetter family. Anna and I hosted a girls night out for Michelle and her friends and enjoyed downtown Buda with live music and "Dinner under the Stars". What a fun time for everyone.. we love you Michelle!
Meet Bella and our new little... getting bigger, chicks!
Richard and I love our new little donkey, Bella. She fits right in with our growing barnyard environment!
Meet our little chicks who are growing and changing dramatically each week. Their feathers are coming in and bringing new colors and looks! They have learned to roost on a perch in their wired cage and love to practice scratching in the hay and flying around. We will be moving them out to the big chick coop sometime in June when the weather is warn enough (both day and night) and they have feathers to help insulate their bodies. We are sure having fun taking care of our animals and are entertained each day!
Easter eggs.... and chicks!
What fun we had with grandkids naming our four chicks we got Easter week. Katie named her golden colored chick "Dora", Arthur named his orange chick "Mitch", Tyler named his black and white chick "Chick", Nathan named his black and brown chick "Sonic-X".
Natalie was sooo anxious to get a chick to name that we bought two more the next week! Keldon named his brown/black/tan chick "Jengo" and Natalie named her bright yellow chick "Daisey".
I love our family time together for any reason, but holidays sure make it special. We love all our family and hope that Easter was a special time remembering Christ and most importantly that he lives!

Marty visits Texas... what a fun time together!
Marty and her kids and friend Brent came to visit us in Texas in April and we got to try Segways for the first time... what a fun adventure. Richard and I felt like we were riding two wheeled walkers! We can only hope that walkers will be this fun an experience and we have enough balance to master them in our 90s! Thanks Marty for taking the time to drive up from San Antonio and visit your crazy sister in Texas! We all had great fun and look forward to the next time you are in Texas!
